Deputy Mayor of Paris Visits MetraMarket
The Honorable Pierre Schapira, Deputy Mayor of Paris and member of the European Parliament accompanied by Renée Johnson, Chairperson of Paris-Chicago Sister Cities made MetraMarket a destination stop while visiting Chicago this spring. MetraMarket's anchor tenant, an authentic French Market and Chicago’s first year round market, is currently under development by the Bensidoun family, the largest operators of open-air food markets in and around Paris. The two visitors received a tour through the construction site by Pascal Bensidoun of Bensidoun USA and Bob Wislow and Camille Julmy of U.S. Equities.
